Oadby Plastics is seeking a motivated IT Apprentice to join our team. This role is a vital opportunity to develop technical skills and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic IT environment while supporting our core business operations. This apprenticeship offers a comprehensive training experience focused on providing essential IT support and maintaining robust systems across the group. The successful candidate will contribute to a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment by adhering to all QHSE policies and procedures. In this role, youll work towards yourLevel 3 Information Communications Technician,delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships. A Typical Day in the Job: Provide comprehensive 1st line IT support and actively resolve technical issues while fostering strong customer relationships. Manage and maintain IT hardware and software, including configuring new laptops/computers and ensuring all systems are up to date. Provide support for the ERP system and manage all printers throughout the group. Maintain accurate audit and asset tag records. Create and update IT user guides and ensure a clean and safe IT working environment. Stay current with security practices and technology trends, implementing measures to mitigate cyber threats. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and QHSE guidelines, acting consistently with Oadbys core Vision, Mission, and Values. Effectively manage time, prioritise tasks, and undertake other reasonable responsibilities as requested. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
