At ESSURA, we support senior decision-makers operating in some of the world’s most complex environments. As we enter an exciting phase of growth, we’re looking for an exceptional leader to head our Geostrategic Intelligence Advisory (GIA) practice.


Our Geostrategic Intelligence Advisory (GIA) practice delivers ground-truth, corroborated intelligence across the Middle East - anchored in Iraq and specialising in Energy and Critical National Infrastructure (CNI). We support critical Go/No-Go decisions by providing deep insight into political, regulatory, commercial, and security environments.


🌍 The Role

This is a rare opportunity to lead and scale a high-impact intelligence function focused on the Middle East—anchored in Iraq and supporting critical investment and operational decisions across the region.


You’ll take full ownership of the division, including:

* Strategy & growth
* P&L responsibility
* Client engagement & business development
* Quality and integrity of intelligence outputs


🧠 Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a senior intelligence professional who brings:

* Deep, current expertise in the Middle East (particularly Iraq)
* A strong background in government or operational intelligence
* Proven leadership experience managing high-performing teams
* The ability to engage credibly with C-suite clients and stakeholders
* Commercial instinct and appetite to build and grow a business

We’d be particularly interested if you also have:

* Private sector or consultancy experience (especially energy or corporate intelligence)
* Broader MENA/GCC regional exposure
* Arabic language skills
* An existing regional network of clients, partners, or in-country contacts
* Experience owning P&L or contributing to commercial growth targets
