Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee the organisation's payroll operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payments, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations, and managing payroll-related data. Payroll Manager
Full time permanent role
Based: Wembley
This is a hand on role leading a team of three by example in a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage a team of 3.
· Manage up to 7 fortnightly payroll each week.
· Manage up to 15 monthly payrolls.
· Submit all BACS files in time.
· Submit all EPS & FPS in time.
· Submit pension contribution in time.
· Submitting PAYE & AOE BACS in time.
· Submitting 3 years WPP reenrolments in time.
· Ensure Star/Iris payroll system is updated at appropriate times to ensure system in compliant with current legislation.
· Ensure gender pay report is submitted in time.
· Ensure all employees adhere to UKBA guidelines on right to work.
· Ensure all payroll queries are acted upon and responded to within a timely manner.
· Respond to all HMRC and pension Regulator queries in time.
· Regularly review end to end controls, routines, and duty segregations.
· Liaise with Area Managers on areas of opportunities and improvement measures.
· Preparation fortnightly and monthly payroll analysis for monthly P&L reviews.
· Respond to ONS on employee matters in time.
· Lead, coach and develop a team.
Essential requirements are:
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
· Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
