Job Description:
At Leader Education, we are seeking a Mental Health/Behaviour Support Assistant to support children within a SEMH school, this school is based in Blyth, Northumberland. The ideal candidate will have had previous experience working with young people as well as a genuine interest and commitment to helping them reach their full potential.
The normal working pattern is Monday to Friday 8:30 until 15:30.
Working with Leader Education:

The successful Candidate will:
* Candidates will need an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or the willingness to obtain one
* Provide one-on-one support to students with EHCP's
* Monitor and manage student's behaviour and wellbeing
* Support the development of social and emotional skills
* Prepare and adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students
* A compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting young people with diverse need
