Main duties of the job
What does a great Supply Chain Officer do?
* Demonstrate a sound understanding of materials management and knowledge of general supply chain management principles from the receipting of goods, to the importance of the supply flow within a hospital environment.
* Show an understanding of technologies used for the management of supplies.
* Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and be able to react positively under pressure in a demanding environment.
* Show effective problem solving skills to ensure that all aspects of the supply chain work for the benefit of the trust in terms of supply and financial management.
* Be flexible as this is a full time post working hours per week on rotational shifts which can be interchangeable to cover service requirement
