Teaching Assistant - Brookfield Primary Academy

Start Date: As soon as possible

Contract details:

Monday - Friday 09:00 - 15:00 with a 60 minute unpaid lunch break, term time & 3 additional working days fixed until the end of the academic year when it will be reviewed.

LEO Academy Trust is seeking talented and dedicated, qualified Teaching Assistants to join our vibrant and supportive team. If you have a love for early childhood development and a knack for creating engaging learning experiences, we encourage you to apply! Applicants will be supporting teaching and learning in school. The duties will include assisting with classes, small groups and 1:1 with SEND pupils.

The successful candidate will be able to support individual pupils in a caring, patient and compassionate way, ensuring their pastoral and academic needs are met. It is essential that you are able to follow school procedures.

You will provide curricular and pastoral support in our thriving and friendly school. The successful candidate will enjoy a varied daily routine as part of a close team. There will be an emphasis on helping in the classrooms across the year groups but the list below will offer an idea of what else is to be expected, although it is not exhaustive.

What you'll offer:

Expertise: You hold a relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3) and have experience working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 as well as have experience of working with children with additional needs.

Nurturing Nature: You provide a warm and supportive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Team Player: You collaborate effectively with teachers and other support staff to create a cohesive and enriching learning environment.

Excellent Communication: You can build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, have good communication skills, be enthusiastic, fair and kind.
