Sheridan Maine are recruiting for a talented Management Accountant to join a fantastic group reporting team.
This role offers a hybrid working pattern of 4 days working from home and 1 day in the Poole office.
Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include:
1. Producing monthly management accounts and assisting with annual statutory accounts
2. Supporting the financial reporting process
3. Financial partnering
4. Preparing budgets and forecasts
5. Collaborating with budget holders and stakeholders as a business partner
6. Managing, supporting and developing a small team of Assistant Management Accountants
7. Balance sheet reconciliations
8. Journal processing
9. Providing variance analysis
10. Handling reporting and other analytical tasks
11. Investigating financial systems and rectifying errors
12. Identify opportunities for improvements
The successful Management Accountant should possess the following skills and experience:
13. Part qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or qualified by experience
14. Effective communication skills, with the ability to establish and build relationships across the business
15. A collaborative and solution oriented mindset
16. Advanced Excel skills
17. Ability to analyse, interpret and present information clearly and concisely
