Due to service growth, we’re recruiting an SEN Primary Teacher for our new Options Autism School — Claystone School in Luton, Bedfordshire. Apply now to be part of our exciting new journey! Our New Options School will cater for pupils who have ASC and Complex Needs. Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday, 8.15am to 4.15pm Contract: Permanent, Term Time only Start: September 2025 or January 2026 About the Role As an SEN Primary Teacher, you will deliver high-quality education in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and the standards set by the Regulatory Body. You will plan and teach lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils, monitor progress, and contribute to a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Key Task Areas and Responsibilities Deliver high-quality education to individual students or small groups in line with the School’s Curriculum framework, Company policies, and regulatory standards. Monitor, record, and report on student progress regularly. Support and contribute to the implementation of the School Development Plan. Promote the physical, educational, and moral development of students, consistent with Company policies. Develop and implement personalized learning environments and programs to ensure student progression at an appropriate pace. Coordinate the teaching, assessment, recording, and reporting of subjects and learning areas across key stages, as directed by the Headteacher. Devise, implement, and review individual education plans (IEPs), behaviour plans, and other relevant plans collaboratively with staff. Organize the classroom environment, resources, student groupings, and displays to create a stimulating and supportive learning atmosphere. Qualifications and Experience UK QTS or equivalent Experience with SEN children (desirable) Our new Options Autism School - Claystone School in Luton, Bedfordshire opened January 2025 and will have capacity for 48 pupils ages 4-11 years old and will cater for pupils who have ASC and Complex Needs. For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to pupils, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties.
