ANZUK Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in South Somerset. They are seeking a passionate Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025 to cover a maternity leave, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4.
About the Role of a Science Teacher:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive science department, with a team of 7, where curiosity and creativity are encouraged. You will play a key role in helping students develop a strong understanding of the world around them through engaging and impactful science lessons.
Key Responsibilities of a Science Teacher:
* Deliver high-quality, engaging science lessons to students in Years 7 11
* Plan and assess in line with national curriculum expectations
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Support the broader school community, including enrichment and extracurricular activities
* Collaborate with colleagues to drive progress and maintain high standards

What We re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Specialism or strong subject knowledge in Science
* Experience teaching Key Stages 3 and 4
* A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young learners
* A collaborative and student-focused mindset
