Job Summary
Join to apply for the Paramedic/ RGN role at Superchem Industries. The post holder will work as a response practitioner and will be responsible when called to assess and deliver emergency medical care to our population within HMP Peterborough. The successful candidate will also be expected to attend non‑urgent calls on the wing(s) to evaluate patients and determine their medical needs. You will be familiar with using onboard equipment to support the delivery of care, e.g. defibrillation, resuscitation. The post holder will ensure the provision of delivery is practice based research that brings high quality care to patients in HMP Peterborough in accordance with local and national policies.
Responsibilities
* Respond to emergency medical calls within HMP Peterborough and provide immediate medical care.
* Attend non‑urgent calls on the wing(s) to evaluate patients and determine their medical needs.
* Tri and screen patients in reception and on the wings.
* Conduct triage of patients and hold secondary screening clinics.
* Participate in medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, and manage court returns and releases.

Contract & Working Pattern
Permanent, full‑time.
Salary & Pay Scheme
Band 6, Agenda for Change. £38,682 to £46,580 a year pa pro rata.
Qualifications (Essential)
* RGN NMC Registrant
* Registered with the Healthcare Professions Council
* Degree in Paramedic Science
* Evidence of continued learning
Qualifications (Desirable)
* Knowledge of NICE Guidelines
* Knowledge of Research and audit
Experience & Skills (Essential)
* Post‑registration clinical experience
* Ability to demonstrate an advanced level of clinical practice
* Ability to negotiate effectively
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Demonstrate the importance of clear documentation
Experience & Skills (Desirable)
* Experience of advanced life support
* Experience of completing audits and interpreting data
* Experience of working in primary care
