Senior Validation Engineer We are seeking a Senior Validation Engineer with a strong focus on converter validation. This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the next generation of satellite communications at a time when the industry is experiencing significant technological transformation. Responsibilities Reporting to the Chip Validation Team Leader, the Senior Validation Engineer will: Focus on validation of high-speed converters, including performance, power consumption, and frequency-domain behavior Validate high-frequency analog and mixed-signal IPs Verify chipsets against functional and performance metrics Develop and own chip-level and system-level test plans in collaboration with design and test teams Build test automation for chip and system validation using Python Investigate test failures, perform root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions with design and development teams Execute, develop, and plan chip and system tests, contributing to overall product quality improvements Support test management tools and continuous integration workflows Perform data analysis and post-processing of collected test data Test and debug ETTC-related functionality Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic or Computer Engineering Experience testing telecommunications or satellite systems Strong background in high-frequency circuits, RF systems, and high-speed communication blocks Hands-on experience validating converters (ADC/DAC), including power consumption and high-speed signal behavior Knowledge of high-speed time-domain links (e.g., SERDES) and associated equipment (BERT, DCA) Proven programming experience in automated test environments (C/C++/Python, etc.) Excellent debugging and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and root-cause complex issues Experience planning, estimating, and developing system-level tests Familiarity with defect-tracking and knowledge-management tools (JIRA, Confluence preferred) Understanding of test methodologies Proficiency with RF and high-frequency test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, VNAs/PNA systems, signal generators, power meters, and high-speed sampling oscilloscopes Strong interpersonal skills Knowledge of RF fundamentals and communication theory Independent, self-motivated, collaborative, and capable of multitasking Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment
