Our client seeks a Fabric Engineer based in Hatfield to work in a prestigious commercial environment, offering career progression and upskilling opportunities within a growing sector.

Working Hours
 * Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
 * Availability for On-call Duties
Key Responsibilities
 * Conduct general visual site inspections across plant rooms and communal spaces.
 * Perform painting and decorating tasks.
 * Carry out tiling and carpentry work.
 * Handle basic plumbing tasks.
 * Manage drainage and flushing systems.
 * Change light bulbs and test emergency lights.
 * Test fire alarms and doors.
 * Perform grouting and plastering.
 * Undertake minor electrical works.
 * Repair building fixtures, including doors, handles, and windows.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
 * City & Guilds 18th Edition Certification
 * Proven experience in a comparable Building Service Role
 * Proficiency in planned preventative maintenance procedures
 * Ability to troubleshoot single and three-phase control and distribution circuits
 * Familiarity with lighting, motor, UPS systems, emergency generation, and HVAC plant equipment
Desirable Qualifications & Skills
 * City & Guilds/BTEC in Electrical Engineering
 * Familiarity with Computacenter head office systems
 * Certification in using access equipment
 * Specialized training in relevant areas
 * Health and safety qualifications
