Requirements (Essential for Wales)
To be considered, you must:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) or willing to register
Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
Have experience working with secondary-aged students
Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
⭐ Desirable Experience
Previous experience teaching in UK secondary schools
Ability to teach your specialist subject to GCSE level (or higher)
Experience supporting a range of abilities, including SEN and ALN pupils
Confident delivering engaging lessons and adapting to different school environments
Strong understanding of the Welsh curriculum (desired but not essential)
