Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) | Automated Distribution | Leeds. Permanent role, Monday – Friday Double Days. Salary: £52,000.
We are working with a globally recognised, privately owned systems integration business expanding its UK resident engineering team. With over 20 years in the UK market and a £100 million turnover, the business works with major names in retail and logistics and is supporting a brand-new, state-of-the-art site in the Leeds area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a tight-knit team on a cutting-edge facility from the ground up, with genuine prospects to progress internally, including opportunities across the UK and worldwide.
What You'll Be Doing
* Reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a range of automated systems
* Fault finding and diagnosis on electrical components — sensors, relays, contacts and control panels
* Mechanical maintenance including conveyors, pumps, bearings, belts, valves and pneumatic systems
* Swapping and replacing components like-for-like across a variety of automated equipment
* Error handling and correcting machine faults to minimise downtime
* Working from a full CMMS system with PPMs issued directly to your iPad
The Package
* £52,000 basic salary
* Shifts: 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 | 40 hours per week
* 6% pension contribution

What We're Looking For
* Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or Multi-Skilled Engineering essential
* Electrical bias with strong fault-finding ability
* Confident working in control panels and using a multimeter
* Mechanical competence — conveyors, pneumatics, pipework
* A team player who is comfortable in a customer-facing environment
* Happy to hit the ground running on a new and exciting site
