Cleveland Fire Brigade is seeking an experienced and motivated Commissioned Services Manager to lead the development, procurement and delivery of commissioned services that support our Prevention Strategy and Community Risk Management Plan 2026–2030. This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking individual to play a key role in improving community wellbeing, reducing risk, and helping to build safer, stronger communities across Cleveland to protect People, Places and Futures.
As Commissioned Services Manager, you will oversee the delivery of funded prevention services, manage key teams, and develop strong partnerships with commissioners and partner agencies. You will be responsible for securing funding through successful bids and ensuring services are delivered effectively within budget. The successful candidate will lead the development and continuous improvement of commissioned prevention services while building and maintaining effective relationships with commissioners, stakeholders, and partner organisations.
The role will involve identifying funding opportunities, managing service budgets, and monitoring income generation to support service sustainability. You will oversee the performance monitoring, evaluation and reporting of commissioned services to ensure they remain effective and aligned with organisational objectives and contractual requirements. In addition, you will support the recruitment, development, and performance management of staff, championing equality, diversity, inclusion, and staff wellbeing across your teams.
