Health & Safety Lead
Based in County Louth - Commutable from Louth, Meath and North Dublin.
Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm with operational flexibility

Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive Health & Safety Lead to manage, improve and monitor Health & Safety systems across a busy, multi‑site operation. You will act as the main point of contact for daily safety matters, ensuring compliance, supporting management, and promoting a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate Health & Safety requirements across all teams
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures and safety programmes
- Conduct audits, inspections and safety reporting
- Coordinate all safety training and staff inductions
- Support risk assessments and job hazard analysis
- Manage safety records, PPE tracking and incident reporting
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
- Analyse incident trends to drive prevention
- Improve safety systems and integrate best practice
- Monitor progress against environmental and net zero targets
Qualifications & Experience
Preferably a Degree in Health & Safety, minimum Cert.
2+ years' relevant H&S experience
Additional desirable certifications: Manual Handling Instructor, Train the Trainer, Occupational First Aider
