SEN Teaching Assistant Full-Time

Pay: £80 £110 per day (depending on experience)

A warm and inclusive specialist school in Bushey is seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team this September. The school caters to pupils with autism and complex needs, offering a structured setting and exceptional multi-agency support.
About the Role
This is a full-time, term-time only position, perfect for someone who is compassionate, proactive, and eager to help children thrive. Whether you have prior SEN experience or are looking to start your journey, you ll be well supported by a knowledgeable and welcoming team.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with autism and related needs
* Assist in delivering individualised learning and therapeutic activities
* Support development of communication, social, and life skills
* Implement emotional regulation strategies and promote positive behaviour
* Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families for consistent pupil support
* Support with personal care when needed
* Keep accurate records and contribute to monitoring progress
What We re Looking For
* Experience with SEN (preferred, not essential)
* A calm, patient, and empathetic nature
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Willingness to learn and participate in relevant training
* Dependable, flexible, and committed to inclusive education
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
