Role Requirements
Essential Experience
* Minimum 4 years working in UK defence surface ships (consultancy or Armed Forces background considered)
* In-depth knowledge of DSA02-DMR and Def Stan 00-056 safety standards
* Proven track record in managing and delivering technical safety projects (single or multiple)
* Experience supporting bids and business development activity
* Strong communication, professionalism, and client-facing skills
* Highly organised, capable of working independently (including remotely)
* Must be eligible to obtain UK security clearance
Highly Desirable Skills
* Experience using safety and risk analysis techniques such as SWIFT, HAZOP, FMECA, FTA, LOPA
* Background in autonomous platforms and naval technology
* Client relationship management & securing enduring contracts
* Experience leading or managing small teams
* Degree qualified
* Chartered Engineer or member of a recognised professional institution
