The Infrastructure Operations team are key to the running of the global business both on premise and in the cloud. We are early in our cloud migration strategy and looking for someone to guide and influence this journey we are embarking on, along with improving and maintaining our current environment. What you will be doing You’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference by working in a dynamic and fast paced environment, in a team that works collaboratively across the department and the wider business. You will get the opportunity to influence and recommend critical infrastructure improvements and changes. With a strong focus on Azure infrastructure along with on premise infrastructure, there will be a mix of BAU activities and project work in both areas, helping to drive the cloud agenda while helping to upskill less experienced members of the team. You will work in a global organisation supporting services worldwide. You will work in a team of 7 supporting and collaborating with the IT department of over 130 and the wider business globally. Our Ideal Candidate With a background in Infrastructure on premise and in the cloud, you will have a focus on infrastructure in Azure. You will have 10 years experience in a similar role and 3 years experience implementing Azure Infrastructure solutions. You will have hands on experience in Azure including cloud migration, Infrastructure, storage, networks, identity, enterprise applications and be able to demonstrate deep understanding of this from a hands on perspective. You will have good working knowledge of Microsoft server and stack and work with a number of on premise technologies. You will have a can do and positive attitude and outlook with the personality to work through challenges and differences of opinions. You will have experience of leading on critical changes and projects and turn business requirements into technical implementations. What can we offer you?
