A rare opportunity has come up for an experienced Head Chef to take the helm at Bearslake Inn – a destination country inn on Dartmoor serving top-quality seasonal food in a stunning 13th-century thatched setting.
We’re looking for a passionate leader with a love of local ingredients and flair for menu creation. You’ll work with our owners and front-of-house team to deliver exceptional food that matches our exceptional setting.
Role Highlights:
• Full responsibility for kitchen operations
• Develop and deliver fresh, seasonal menus
• Manage food costs, suppliers, and stock
• Lead, train, and support a small team
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and consistency
Candidate Requirements:
• Head Chef experience in a similar setting
• Calm, organised, and a team player
• Passionate about quality, sustainability, and seasonality
• Strong understanding of cost control and kitchen systems
