Some details about this position:
1. No Dialysis experience is required.
2. Training may take place in a facility or a training clinic other than your assigned home clinic.
3. Potential to float to various clinics during and after training.
4. You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What you can expect:
1. Direct Patient Care: Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment.
2. Our PCTs care for multiple patients.
3. Technician Duties: Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup. Note: exposure to blood and needles.
4. Building long-term relationships with patients suffering from end-stage renal disease receiving treatment approximately 3 times/week. Educate patients on Kidney Dialysis related topics.
5. Teamwork: Collaborate with a cross-functional team including technicians, nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership. PCTs work under the supervision of an RN.

Requirements:
1. Desire to enter the healthcare field to care for others.
2. High school diploma or equivalent.
3. Comfort working around blood and needles.
4. Ability to mix acid or bicarb.
5. Physical and mental ability to work long hours (some shifts 12+ hours) on your feet; wear comfortable shoes. Our work ends when it's safe for our patients.
6. Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory.
7. Healthcare experience is a plus, including: BONENT Certification, CHT, CNA, CMA, or Phlebotomy certification.
