The Role
* Experienced Family Solicitor to join the firm’s dedicated family team.
* Manage a diverse family law caseload with a primary focus on care proceedings; handle private law children matters and non-molestation order cases.
* Provide high quality legal advice and representation to clients.
* Supervise and mentor Junior Solicitors and Caseworkers; ensure full compliance with Legal Aid Agency requirements.
* There is clear potential to step into the Head of Department role, either immediately or through a structured development pathway, leading and shaping a high performing team.
* Role requires flexibility and adaptability, particularly regarding court commitments, with occasional remote working where appropriate.
Candidate / Qualifications
* Minimum 4 years\' PQE as a Family Solicitor.
* Extensive knowledge of care proceedings; solid experience in private law children and non-molestation matters.
* Strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to manage a varied and demanding caseload.
* Motivated to lead, develop and support a team; thrives in a collaborative environment; open to flexible working arrangements where needed.
