£28,000 - £30,000 + Benefits
Our client is a globally respected manufacturer of specialist masts, antennas, and RF communication systems. With over six decades of experience and facilities in both the UK and US, we provide mission-critical communications equipment for sectors including defence, emergency services, and broadcast.
To support further growth, we are seeking a highly organised, commercially minded Office Administrator with a focus on sales support to join their team in Chandlers Ford. This role ensures the smooth operation of their commercial processes.
Working closely with the Head of Internal Sales & Admin and the wider team, the successful candidate will support the full sales cycle—from quotation and order processing to performance reporting and customer communication.
This role offers a clear path to progress into dedicated sales or account management positions.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate and competitive customer quotations aligned with commercial targets
* Support the development of sales materials and documentation
* Process and track sales orders with accuracy and timeliness
* Maintain up-to-date CRM and customer records
* Coordinate across departments (procurement, design, production)
* Assist with customer contracts, price list maintenance, and portals
* Follow up on expiring quotes to maximise conversions
* Generate and analyse sales data for performance tracking
Skills & Experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
* Strong commercial awareness, including margin calculations and pricing support
* Experience in customer-facing or sales support roles
* Organised with excellent attention to detail and time management
* Confident communication skills
* Experience with ERP or CRM systems (Syspro is an advantage)
* Background in technical, engineering, or manufacturing environments (desirable)
* Familiarity with sales cycles and quotations (desirable)
