Service Adviser / Administrator Location: Burntwood Salary: Up to £27,000 (dependent on experience) Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) Job Type: Permanent Overview: A specialist Water Treatment and Hygiene company is seeking a Service Adviser / Administrator to support the operations team. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth communication with customers, coordinating technician schedules, and supporting reporting and invoicing processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational and customer service skills to grow within a well-established business. Key Responsibilities: * Answer customer calls and log details onto internal software * Support monthly customer report production * Coordinate daily job scheduling and ensure accurate work reports * Manage stock and consumables used by service technicians * Raise purchase orders and assist with monthly invoicing * Liaise with technicians and update customers on attendance and job status * Upload completed reports and invoices to customer portals * Coordinate submission of Legionella Risk Assessments * Monitor ongoing project costs * Update job costing and invoicing documentation * Liaise with customers, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth scheduling and communication Requirements: * Experience in a customer service or helpdesk environment * Confident communication with customers and internal teams * Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks * Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and cloud-based platforms * Able to work independently and within a team * Calm under pressure and highly organised Key Competencies: * Customer-focused approach * Excellent verbal and written communication * Strong team player with a positive attitude * Proactive and adaptable, with a willingness to take responsibility * Able to remain composed and effective in fast-paced situations Benefits: * Salary up to £27,000 per annum (DOE) * 24 days annual leave bank holidays * Company pension * Free on-site parking * Company events * Referral programme * Career progression opportunities Additional Information: Applicants must be able to reliably commute to Burntwood or be willing to relocate before starting
