Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Trainee Mortgage Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in guiding clients through the mortgage process, providing expert advice on loan options, and ensuring a smooth transaction from application to closing. This position requires a strong understanding of financial services and excellent customer service skills to build lasting relationships with clients.
Duties
* Assist clients in understanding their mortgage options and help them select the best loan products to meet their needs.
* Manage the loan origination process, including gathering necessary documentation and completing applications.
* Review and analyze financial information to determine client eligibility for loans.
* Prepare and review contracts, ensuring all terms are clear and understood by clients.
* Collaborate with loan processors and underwriters to facilitate timely loan approvals.
* Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions using financial software.
* Provide ongoing support to clients throughout the life of their mortgage, addressing any questions or concerns that may arise.
Skills
* Familiarity with Mortgage regulations and contract management.
* Must be CeMAP qualified or equivalent.
* Proficient in basic math skills, including 10 key typing for efficient data entry.
* Experience using financial software for tracking applications and managing client information.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
