Full-Time Classroom Assistant – Immediate Start
A welcoming specialist setting in the Poole area is seeking a dedicated Classroom Assistant to support pupils aged 5 to 12. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a caring primary environment where every child is encouraged to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

The Role
As a Classroom Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support learning activities and help pupils feel safe, confident and engaged throughout the school day.
* Supporting children aged 5 to 12 in small groups or 1:1
* Assisting with classroom activities, routines and differentiated learning
* Helping pupils regulate emotions and develop social skills
* Encouraging independence, confidence and positive behaviour
* Working collaboratively with teaching and support staff
What We’re Looking For
* At least 6 months of childcare experience, ideally supporting children with SEN
* A patient, positive and nurturing approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for helping young learners succeed
Experience supporting children with autism, SEMH or communication needs is highly desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
