Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support our office operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including handling customer enquiries, answering telephones, and ensuring smooth communication between customers and our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the first point of contact for customer queries, both in person and over the phone
* Manage phone calls, redirecting to relevant team members or departments as necessary
* Schedule appointments and manage calendars for team members
* Maintain and organise office records, files, and databases
* Process orders, invoices, and customer payments
* Assist in coordinating customer service queries and resolving issues promptly and professionally
* Perform general office duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
* Provide administrative support to management and staff as required
Key Requirements:
* Previous experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role is essential
* Strong telephone manner and experience dealing with customer queries
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office management software
* Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
* A team player with a positive, customer-focused attitude
* Experience in the home improvements or construction industry is a plus, but not required
