About the role
This position drives strategic, value-generating procurementpractice organisation wide, developing and implementing categorystrategies, engaging with operational leaders to ensure alignmentwith business needs and supplier performance.
About you
With prior leadership experience in procurement and categorymanagement you’ll be seeking a position that empowers you tobuild strategies, solutions and outcomes that drive financial andoperational outcomes. With strong stakeholder partneringyou’ll be able to manage multiple project deliverables,innovate and influence to achieve sustainable outcomes. Yourkey experience will include:
* Extensive experience in Strategic Procurement andLogistics, in a supply-facing procurement role, as a buyer,category lead or contract management role
* Strong experience in stakeholder engagement with robustcommunication, influencing and negotiation skills
* Ability to effectively partner with operational teams toidentify needs, develop and implement solutions
* Demonstrated experience collaboratively develop and preparereporting, excellent skills utilising online systems &platforms including strong proficiency in MS Office Suite(particularly Excel)
* Experience in embedding continuous improvements acrosspractice, systems and process with excellent problem-solvingskills
* National Police Clearance (obtained within the last sixmonths)
