Acting as the key point of contact across Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain to ensure full commercial alignment. Building high-trust, collaborative partnerships with 3PL providers, driving joint improvement plans and innovation. Bringing structure and visibility to open-book models, validating cost inputs, and creating new benchmarks for commercial rigour. Supporting performance reviews, continuous improvement, and future 3PL onboarding. Translating strategic vision into operational reality across multi-temperature (ambient, chilled, frozen) environments. Identifying opportunities for automation, innovation, and industry-leading practices. To succeed in this role, you’ll bring: Proven experience managing warehousing and/or transport logistics contracts with 3PL providers. Strong end-to-end supply chain acumen across FMCG, grocery, or e-commerce – with credibility in warehouse and transport operations. Demonstrable commercial acumen, with hands-on knowledge of open-book and closed-book models. Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, able to align 3PLs, suppliers, and senior stakeholders around common goals. Strong financial literacy, including forecasting, budgeting, and cost modelling. A future-focused mindset, curious about new technologies and automation, and able to challenge established methods constructively. A collaborative, approachable style with the ability to build trust quickly. A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel between sites and supplier locations when needed.
