About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insolvency Manager to lead and manage our Insolvency Administration Team in Leeds. This is a key leadership role suited to a commercially focused insolvency professional with strong people management skills and a solid background in commercial insolvency.
You will oversee the operational delivery of corporate insolvency cases while driving team performance, efficiency, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage the Insolvency Administration Team
Oversee workflow, case allocation, and team productivity
Ensure high standards of case administration and compliance
Provide technical guidance and support on corporate insolvency matters
Review reports, statutory documentation, and case progress
Drive continuous improvement of processes and procedures
Support staff development, training, and performance management
Liaise with directors, creditors, solicitors, and stakeholders as required
Assist with complex or high-value insolvency cases where necessary
About You
We are looking for a confident leader with strong technical expertise and a proactive management style.
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience working in commercial insolvency
Previous team leadership or management experience
Strong technical knowledge of corporate insolvency procedures
Ability to oversee multiple cases and deadlines
Excellent communication and people management skills
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
High attention to detail and compliance awareness
Desirable:
CPI / JIEB qualification (or working towards)
Experience improving operational processes or workflows
