At our Murrayfield Nursery in Edinburgh, we are recruiting for Nursery Assistants to join our team, working as Bank Staff. This role involves supporting within the nursery as and when needed, covering staff holidays and sickness. This is a zero-hour contract with great salaries offered up to £14.43 per hour depending on qualifications and experience, together with great benefits.
The Murrayfield Nursery is part of CC Nurseries and is based in Edinburgh. At our busy 90-place nursery, we offer a home-from-home environment, led by our passionate and caring team. Our nursery is filled with hand-picked resources (natural where possible) to encourage self-directed play and discovery. Outside, we have a large, secure outdoor space including a fire pit, a fishpond, and an outdoor classroom, as well as a separate area for the youngest children to enjoy fun.

Requirements
As a Nursery Assistant (Bank Staff), you will:
1. Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
2. Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.
3. Assist with embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments.
4. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent, and visitor at all times.
5. Work within a team to support all children and team members within your room.
6. Understand and ensure that the requirements of the curriculum are being met.
7. Ideally possess an Early Years Qualification or have experience working with children under 5.
