Training & Mobilisation Manager
Location: Welwyn Garden City Hours: Full-Time 37 Hours per Week Salary: £51,848 - £55,163 depending on experience
Role description:
We are looking for an experienced Training & Mobilisation Manager to design and implement a company-wide training strategy across all levels of the organisation. You must have experience in a similar role, ideally within a food manufacturing or hospitality environment, and be passionate about learning and development, coaching and food safety standards.
You will develop and deliver a fit-for-purpose framework that ensures compliance, supports professional development and promotes a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver and manage HCLs training strategy and mandatory training programmes.
Lead and support the Training Team, ensuring delivery of high-quality training aligned with legislation and best practice.
Support mobilisation of new and existing contracts, ensuring all staff are trained and compliant.
Design and deliver leadership development programmes in partnership with senior leadership and HR.
Develop and enhance e-learning modules, with support from HR Systems and Marketing.
Oversee apprenticeship programmes and build relationships with providers.
Support performance development reviews and staff development processes.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a similar role (preferably in food manufacturing or hospitality).
Strong background in L&D with experience delivering leadership and wider programmes.
HACCP/Food Hygiene Level 3 and/or coaching/trainer qualification (desirable).
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
Comfortable using LMS and digital learning tools.
Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle.
