As an Asset Relocation Operative at Brandon Hire Station, you'll be a crucial part of our team, ensuring the safe and efficient relocation of company assets across the UK.Working alongside the Business Support Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting our transformation goals over the next 12 months, contributing to the growth and operational success of our business.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely deliver and collect tools and equipment to and from designated locations
* Operate vehicles to transport assets and forklift driving to move, load, and shift equipment
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure assets are in good working order
* Load and unload deliveries, ensuring that assets are left in an organised and tidy manner
* Manage inventory and assist with asset tracking and reporting
* Remove signage and dismantle storage racking where required
* Ensure the safe onward storage or delivery of dismantled items
* Follow health and safety procedures to ensure safe transport and handling of equipment
* Complete vehicle safety checks and report any issues promptly to management
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including maintaining accurate records
What We're Looking For
* Full UK driving licence (Category B as a minimum, Category BE desirable)
* Experience in a multi-drop driving role
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
* Flexible working hours with a willingness to travel long distances and stay overnight when required
* A strong work ethic with the determination to complete tasks efficiently and effectively
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Knowledge of safety compliance and maintaining a safe working environment
* A forklift licence is desirable
* Basic computer skills are desirable
* Experience using hand tools or good knowledge of equipment handling
