An excitingopportunity has arisen to join our practice as a Clinical Coder at The BrookeSurgery. We are a busy, dynamic surgerywith over 20,000 patients, local to Hyde and the surrounding areas.
As a ClinicalCoder you will work closely with your colleagues and clinicians to ensure thatall medical diagnoses, procedures, and treatments are coded accurately and in atimely manner.
The post holdermay also be required to undertake a wide range of administrative duties, tocontribute to the smooth running of the practice and provide support to thewhole multidisciplinary team.
The successfulcandidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills along withstrong IT skills; be forward thinking and have a can-do attitude. Full trainingwill be given but a willingness to learn and develop is essential.
The surgery hashigh levels of patient satisfaction and a friendly and supportive workingenvironment. Excellent administration skills and the ability to work underpressure are essential.

Person Specification
Experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong IT skills and confidence using clinical systems (EMIS/Docman experience desirable)
* Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and work under pressure
* High attention to detail and commitment to data quality
* Professional, forward thinking approach with a willingness to develop
* Experience in clinical coding or GP administration is essential.
