We are seeking a committed Personal Development Facilitator to support the delivery of our College Personal Development (PD) Strategy. This is a rewarding opportunity to guide learners beyond their technical or vocational studies and play a key role in shaping confident, responsible, and well-rounded global citizens.
Essential criteria
1. A relevant Level 3 (or above) vocational or professional qualification.
2. Experience supporting learners in a teaching, tutoring, mentoring or coaching capacity.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with diverse groups.
4. Confident in using ICT to support teaching, learning and record‑keeping.
5. Ability to work collaboratively and manage priorities to meet deadlines.
What you’ll be doing
6. Delivering engaging Personal Development sessions in line with the PD Scheme of Learning.
7. Planning, developing and reviewing PD curriculum content and resources as part of the PD Team.
8. Supporting learners to develop essential behaviours, attitudes and employability skills.
9. Maintaining accurate digital learner records and managing initial learner concerns, referring appropriately.
10. Working collaboratively with curriculum teams, safeguarding, wellbeing and other support services.
11. Contributing to wider College activities including careers guidance, CPD events and student‑focused initiatives.
12. Ensuring adherence to College policies including Safeguarding, Prevent, Health & Safety and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion.

Lets Teach Programme
Let’s Teach The LET’s teach programme supports new members of teaching staff in terms of college systems and key teaching and learning areas including new staff lesson visits and postcard peeps. Each new member of staff has an allocated Lead Practitioner who works closely with them throughout the programme.
Let’s Bloom
The LET’s Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal.
