Position Details
Abbott Diabetes Care, Abbott GmbH, seeks a Senior Market Access Manager EMEAP (m/f/d), based in Wiesbaden or one of the EU BIG 5 countries.

Major Responsibilities
* Develop and execute EMEA market access strategies for the ADC product portfolio, ensuring readiness for launch in all EMEA markets.
* Support product differentiation by adapting global value stories to local healthcare contexts, avoiding price erosion, and expanding access.
* Design and implement innovative reimbursement mechanisms, focusing on new customer segments, products, and digital health solutions.
* Partner with payers to develop digital solutions and value modules.
* Negotiate for local reimbursement expansion, analyzing financial models and maintaining tender/pricing databases.
* Travel approximately 20% (depending on location).
Education Requirements
* Required: Advanced Degree in Science, Economics, Legal, or related fields.
* Preferred: Medical Degree, Master’s in Market Access, Public Health, Health Economics, or Health Policy.
Experience and Background
* Preferred: 5-7 years in reimbursement and market access in pharma/medical devices or related sectors.
* Experience in local market access is a plus.
* Knowledge of diabetes and blood glucose monitoring is beneficial.
* Proven success in reimbursement and product introduction.
* Strong negotiation, project management, and evidence-based medicine skills.
* Ability to execute plans with cross-functional support.
* Leadership competencies include setting vision, decision-making, and results orientation.
