We are looking a caring, committed Care Worker to join our team. The perfect applicant will offer vital support and assistance to those who require care. The work demands a high level of devotion to patient care, with a focus on dignity and respect for the individual. The Care Worker will be responsible for providing high quality care and creating a supportive environment for our service users.
Duties
* Assist patients with personal care includes activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
* Help patients prepare meals and make sure they get sufficient nourishment.
* Assist with manual handling & transferring of patients as needed.
* Observe and record the patient’s behaviour and health condition and communicate any changes to management, family and health workers.
* Motivate patients to engage in meaningful activity to promote quality of life.
* accompany patients to appointments and social activities as required.
* Keep your environment clean and safe.
Qualifications
* Driving licence with a clean driving record is preferred.
* Home Care Experience
* Knowledge of how to establish and administer care plans
* Good grasp of English (written and spoken)
* IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
* Great communication skills and the capacity to establish trusting relationships with clients and co-workers
* Compassionate approach with a true desire to enhance others wellbeing
