ABOUT THIS JOB

The RGM Senior Manager works directly with CPG manufacturer teams, advising on effective Revenue Management strategies and tactics to drive improved business performance. This position is responsible for providing pricing and promotional analytic leadership and building strong relationships across NielsenIQ client base.

This includes leveraging business experience, along with demonstrating expert-level knowledge of NielsenIQ “Revenue Optimiser” software to make strategic recommendations that drive ROI.

We are bringing together rich data sets, artificial intelligence, and machine learning techniques into user-friendly software. The growing NielsenIQ Revenue Management Practice helps its clients to make smarter and more confident pricing and promotions decisions through the utilisation of world-class pricing and promotional analytical software.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Conduct pricing analyses and promotional evaluations to develop insights that drive Annual Strategic Planning, Quarterly Account Planning, and Joint Business Planning with clients
2. Lead work-sessions with clients to co-create strategies that optimize promotional calendars and maximize trade spend (scenario planning)
3. Subject matter expert in Revenue Optimiser software, providing training and issue-based coaching as required to instill Curve as a core competency at all clients
4. Client ownership of assigned accounts, strengthening relationships through a deep understanding of client’s issues and providing value-add expertise in pricing & Strategic Revenue Management
5. Analysis of client engagement to drive deep integration & satisfaction
6. Collection of client feedback on product improvement and development
7. Key member/ advisor of the senior leadership team.

REQUIREMENTS

8. Strategic thinker, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in pricing management/negotiation, preferably in CPG Sales, Category Management, Revenue Management, Sales Strategy, or Customer Finance
9. Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of CPG retail landscape, including pricing practices/priorities
10. Strong business acumen and excellent analytical skills; able to translate findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
11. Solution-focused attitude & change management mindset; demonstrated a willingness to challenge the status quo
12. Team-oriented with a strong sense of ownership, accountability and commitment
13. Excellent interpersonal skills; able to quickly build rapport and develop business relationships
14. Effective leader and communicator (verbal, written)
15. Able to work independently, solve problems, and learn new concepts
16. Excellent attention to detail and strong work ethic
17. Expert-level technical skills, primarily MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
18. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; or equivalent combination of work and experience
