Job Description
3. Greet visitors and provide excellent customer service
4. Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
5. Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
6. Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
7. Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
8. Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
9. Assist colleagues whenever necessary
10. Maintain up-to-date employee holiday records
The Successful Applicant
A successful Receptionist should have:
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
12. Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
13. Strong communication skills
14. Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
15. Excellent organisational skills
16. Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
