Account Executive (RegTech into Financial Services)
Location: UK (Remote)
Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 base + Double OTE

A high-growth RegTech software vendor helping financial institutions navigate increasingly complex regulatory requirements. The business provides solutions across AML, KYC, and fraud prevention, supporting organisations in improving compliance, reducing risk, and enhancing operational efficiency.
With strong momentum across the UK and European markets, the business is now investing in building out its Financial Services vertical. This hire will play a key role in establishing and scaling this segment.
Role Overview
The Account Executive will take ownership of the Financial Services vertical, driving new business growth across mid-market and enterprise organisations.
This is a full 360 sales role, responsible for managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting through to close. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the go-to-market approach for this vertical, with the opportunity to grow into a more senior position as the segment scales.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and develop the Financial Services vertical across the UK market
* Drive new business opportunities within mid-market and enterprise organisations
* Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through to negotiation and close
* Build and execute targeted outbound strategies aligned to AML, KYC, and fraud use cases
* Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across compliance, risk, and operations teams
* Collaborate with marketing and leadership to refine messaging and vertical positioning
* Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting
* Contribute to the wider go-to-market strategy as the business scales this vertical
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a closing role within a SaaS or software vendor environment
* Track record of selling into Financial Services organisations
* Experience selling RegTech solutions such as AML, KYC, fraud, or compliance software
* Demonstrated success managing full 360 sales cycles
* Experience selling into mid-market and/or enterprise organisations
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage complex deal cycles
* Ability to build and execute outbound strategies independently
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
