Role Profile This role will be responsible for the planning of components to ensure that work is planned and executed on time through the shop floor. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Participate in a positive and proactive EHS culture across the site. Take ownership for a unique set of part numbers and ensure that the ERP factory programme is managed to achieve internal and external Customer requirements. Understand load/capacity plans for a unique resource and ensure communication with leaders. Build internal relationships regarding delivery plans and progress for a set of parts. Challenge current lead-times for a unique set of part numbers ensuring that they reflect current manufacturing practices. Encourage lead-time reduction providing supportive evidence to help assist decision making. Establish line of balance plans sufficient to highlight shortages and identify and establish recovery plans. To provide statistical evidence of performance and trend data to enable improvement, working towards 100% delivery on time. A key feature of this role will be clear and concise communication on what is required and when, as well as the raising, documenting and resolution of actions necessary to achieve the overall plan. Review and re-forecast where needed the production plan utilising the Syteline system. Any other related duties consistent with the role’s purpose and responsibilities. Person Specification Team player with strong inclusiveness skills Excellent communication skills Strong customer focus Ability to plan, drive and complete projects on time Strong team ethic whilst having the ability to work on own initiative Ability to communicate in an effective manner to different levels within the organisation. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple products / product lines at once. Strong knowledge of the Syteline ERP system Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office packages with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel Previous aviation / aerospace manufacturing experience and / or technical experience or equivalent.
