Your responsibilities as a SEN TA are:
* Work on a 1:1 or small group basis with children who have Special Educational Needs
* Lesson/work planning for the students you are working with
* Utilise learning schemes in order to progress your students learning
* Report back to parents and teachers regarding the students progress
* Supporting childrens physical, social and emotional well:being
* Completion of daily records for pupils
* Classroom preparation for the following school day
Requirements and skills to get started with this job:
* Experience working with SEN pupils
* An Enhanced child DBS on the update service
* Legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available with this role)
* Able to make an impression on both us and our client
* Previous experience in Schools is preferred (must be able to provide 2 recent professional references)
* Flexibly adhere to the needs of the children in a professional and friendly manner
* Good classroom management skills
* Managing challenging behaviour and supporting the class teacher
* Ability to assist teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment for children with social, emotional and mental health needs
