The Consumer Credit Cards Team is a leading provider of credit card products across Lloyds, Halifax, BOS, and MBNA. We serve one in four credit card users with accessible, flexible, and responsible lending. This role is within our newly-formed New Product Development team, responsible for shaping segment-led product strategies and end-to-end customer-centric products, with P&L accountability.
Role Responsibilities
* Extract and analyze data using SAS/SQL via SAS Enterprise Guide or Teradata.
* Transform data into accurate, concise, and meaningful insights.
* Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to senior managers and partners.
* Develop MI reports for monitoring product performance, customer usage, outcomes, profiling, P&Ls, and KPIs.
* Utilize new and existing data sources to gather insights, identify gaps, and suggest product improvements.
Candidate Requirements
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Experience with data mining software in a complex, commercial environment; proficient in SAS/SQL.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
* Experience in using data for customer and product insights, especially in financial services (credit cards/consumer lending preferred).
* Ability to articulate insights effectively to senior stakeholders.
* Self-motivated with good prioritization skills and adaptability.
* Experience in developing business cases balancing value and customer experience.
* Strong communication and influencing skills to gain support for recommendations.
