About the Role
As Ringo soft-launches its MVP and scales internationally, our
eSIM reliability, device compatibility, roaming performance, and digital acquisition infrastructure
are becoming core differentiators.
We are hiring a
Founding Product & Connectivity Lead
to own:
* End-to-end eSIM & device engineering
* Platform infrastructure execution
* Roaming & provisioning performance
* Website performance & SEO as a growth engine
This is a rare hybrid role at the intersection of:
Telecommunications infrastructure × Product systems × Device engineering × Web growth.
You will work directly with the CTO and founder to architect and execute the technical backbone of the company.
Core Responsibilities eSIM & Device Engineering Ownership
* Design, configure, and validate eSIM profiles (MVNO & roaming) compliant with GSMA SGP.22
* Manage Remote SIM Provisioning (RSP) lifecycle
* Test and validate Local Profile Assistant (LPA) behavior on flagship devices:
* iPhone
* Samsung Galaxy
* Google Pixel
* Execute OTA campaigns (eUICC file updates, policy updates, steering logic changes)
* Analyze APDU logs and debug Remote File Management (RFM) issues
* Own Steering of Roaming (SoR) logic across global testbeds
* Optimize eSIM profile size and structure for fast download (3G/4G/5G environments)
* Reduce activation failures and roaming incidents across device, SIM, and network layers
Platform & Infrastructure Product Leadership
* Define early product scope and infrastructure sequencing
* Translate external constraints (carriers, GSMA vendors, compliance) into product decisions
* Manage partner integrations (MVNOs, roaming hubs, connectivity platforms)
* Decide intentionally what is built now vs later
* Maintain clarity in a multi-stakeholder regulated environment
* Work closely with engineering to manage trade-offs and technical dependencies
* Articulate platform logic internally and externally
This role requires strong systems thinking — not feature management.
Website, SEO & Traffic Ownership
* Maintain and optimize Ringo's website performance and uptime
* Own technical SEO foundations:
* Site architecture
* Page speed optimization
* Schema markup
* Crawl health
* Drive organic traffic growth strategy
* Ensure website becomes a central acquisition and credibility engine
* Align web messaging with infrastructure capabilities
* Maintain analytics clarity and traffic performance monitoring
SEO and platform infrastructure must be treated as one system — not separate tracks.
Must-Have QualificationsConnectivity & Device Layer
* 3+ years experience in mobile device configuration & OTA testing
* Strong understanding of:
* APNs, VoLTE, VoWiFi
* Apple Carrier Bundles
* Android network configuration (GSMA NSX)
* Hands-on experience navigating eUICC file systems
* Experience with roaming partners, MVNOs, or global connectivity platforms
* Strong debugging capability across device, SIM, and network layers
Platform & Systems
* Experience building platform, infrastructure, or API-driven products
* Exposure to regulated or multi-partner environments
* Strong prioritization and sequencing discipline
* Comfort operating with ambiguity and incomplete information
* Ability to reason in interfaces, constraints, and systems
Growth & Web
* Understanding of technical SEO and performance optimization
* Experience maintaining production web environments
* Analytical mindset toward traffic and acquisition data
This Role Is NOT
* A consumer growth PM role
* A UI/UX feature-delivery job
* A narrow telecom-only engineering position
* A marketing-only SEO role
This is a systems owner position.

Compensation Structure
We are currently bootstrapped.
* Initial engagement: Freelance retainer or equity-based agreement
* Transition: Full-time contract offer
* Equity: Vested stake aligned with long-term value creation
