Fire & Security Service Engineer CCTV & Access Control Focus - Lancashire / Manchester
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established fire & security company that is looking to expand its Service Division with an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer.
This is a field-based role covering Lancashire, Manchester, and surrounding areas (including Lancaster), working across a varied commercial client base.
The Role
You will be responsible for service, maintenance, reactive, and emergency works, with a strong focus on high-end CCTV and Access Control systems. The role includes working on both standalone and multi-site systems. A good level of IP/ networking knowledge is essential, as much of the work involves networked CCTV and access control solutions.
Hours, Callout & Package
* Hours: 08:30 on site - 17:00 finish
* Call-out: 1 week in 4
* Travel: First 30 minutes each way unpaid
* Salary: Dependent on the engineer's skill set and experience
* Permanent role with consistent workload

* CCTV (Analogue & IP)
* Access Control
* Door Entry and Intercoms
* Intruder Alarms
* Fire Alarms (Conventional and Addressable)
* Integrated security systems
Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years' experience servicing commercial fire and security systems
* Strong CCTV and Access Control background
* Good IP and networking knowledge
* Confident fault-finding and diagnostic ability
* Able to work independently
* Full UK driving licence
* Willing to take part in a 1-in-4 call-out rota
* Professional and customer-focused approach
