As Payroll Specialist, you will…
1. Manage end-to-end payroll processing for weekly and monthly cycles, ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance
2. Reconcile payroll reports, PAYE, NI, pensions, and HMRC submissions in line with statutory deadlines
3. Support the migration and integration of payroll systems, identifying opportunities for automation
4. Resolve payroll queries and discrepancies promptly, delivering a high standard of employee service
5. Liaise with HR and finance colleagues to ensure data integrity across departments
6. Assist with reporting, audit preparation, and process documentation
To succeed as Payroll Specialist, you’ll need…
7. Experience in a payroll-focused role, ideally within a high-volume or multi-site environment
8. Strong technical understanding of UK payroll legislation, RTI, auto-enrolment, and statutory payments
9. A proactive, organised approach and a keen eye for detail
10. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships
11. Experience using systems such as Sage Payroll, ADP, or similar
