Graduate Learning Support Assistant - SEND/SEMH School - Gainsborough
Are you a graduate who has a passion for supporting children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs? Would you like to help pupils overcome barriers to learning and receive a truly inclusive education? Join Aspire People, working with several SEND/SEMH schools in the Gainsborough area. This role is ideal for a graduate seeking school-based experience, or an experienced learning support assistant looking for a new opportunity.
Graduate Learning Support Assistant - responsibilities
* An ideal way to gain experience in an outstanding secondary school
* Based in Gainsborough (other schools in nearby towns available)
* Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Work with pupils who have additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, medical needs and more
* Receive excellent support from the school and Aspire People
* Long term position - Paid £95-£105 per day
* Work Monday - Friday school hours, term time only
* DBS check required, safeguarding training provided
Graduate Learning Support Assistant - requirements
* Degree 2:2 or above, ideally psychology but any subjects considered
* Experience or knowledge of SEN
* Confident and enthusiastic, with a love of learning
* Passionate about education and supporting children with SEN
