The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a high-performing Group Finance team based in London.
This role sits at the heart of the finance function, supporting the consolidation, reporting and performance analysis of a complex, multi-entity international group. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and play a key role in delivering high-quality financial information to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and deliver accurate, high-quality financial reporting, providing clear analysis and insight to senior stakeholders
* Support the consolidation of multi-currency group management accounts and contribute to the monthly reporting cycle
* Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards
* Manage key aspects of the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and robust outputs
* Act as a key contact for external auditors, coordinating deliverables and resolving queries efficiently
* Prepare and review consolidation adjustments, ensuring consistency of accounting treatment across the Group
* Support the development and enhancement of Group accounting policies and best practices
* Deliver budgeting and cost analysis, supporting financial planning and performance tracking
* Contribute to regulatory reporting requirements across the Group
* Support acquisition accounting and assist with integration of new entities into Group reporting
* Identify and implement process and control improvements, including automation and system enhancements
* Maintain and strengthen the financial control environment
* Partner with stakeholders across the business on finance-related projects and initiatives
Candidate Profile
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with strong technical accounting knowledge
* Experience in group reporting and consolidations within a multi-entity environment
* Proactive and solutions-oriented, with a mindset focused on continuous improvement
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
* High attention to detail and accountability for accurate delivery
* Confident communicator, able to engage effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
* Professional, discreet and able to exercise sound judgement
* Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
* Self-starter with the ability to take ownership and drive work through to completion
