Directorate: Education Pay Level: £73,412 to £82056 Scale points Soulbury 14 to 19 with an additional fringe allowance of £939 (Previously awarded SPA points will be honoured) Contract Type: Permanent Working Hours: 37 Hours a week Location: Hybrid, including working across Slough Educational Settings and Observatory House DBS Enhanced *We’re reviewing applications on a rolling basis and will be holding interviews from 2 February. The role will remain open, with the next review after 9 February — apply early to avoid missing out. What you’ll be doing: You will be helping us build a new Educational and Child Psychology service based on our values, creativity, and continuous improvement. You will help us lead on navigating change and in the development of creating a link Educational Psychologist and related professional support to our education and community settings(EP) model, where we empower schools and settings to embrace evidence-informed approaches. You’ll be part of a passionate team dedicated to systemic solutions and meaningful, lasting change. You will be a key member of our SEND and Inclusion Leadership Team. We are at the start of imagining a way in which we want to develop a service where every EP and related specialist has the chance to lead in areas of professional interest whether it’s SENCo supervision, ELSA programme, our Transformation Impact groups, ERSA interventions, PINS and neurodiversity pathways and embedding our graduated approach across the Local SEND and AP provision, or delivering centralised training open to all education and community settings and schools. Also to work on systemic change across our education and inclusion areas for Priority Action. Annual increments, where applicable, are usually payable on 1st April each year, subject to six months service in the post, until the maximum spinal column point of the level has been reached.
