The position is responsible for coordinating and maintaining a comprehensive admissions program. The Admissions Coordinator assists the PPS Coordinator with the timely encoding of patient data per Medicare Regulations. The Admissions Coordinator represents PRMC and the ARU in marketing activities to promote hospital programs.Required Education:RN/PT/OT/ST degreePreferred Education:

Required Skills:
Strong clinical assessment skills. Competent computer skills in clinical documentation systems and MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Excellent interpersonal, time management and communication skills. Flexibility to handle variability in workload and necessity for multi-tasking.
Preferred Skills:
Possess a working knowledge of the Inpatient Rehab Facilities’ CS Rules and Regulations.
Required Licensure/Registration/Certification:
Current Texas license as a Registered Nurse, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Therapist, BLS
Preferred Licensure/Registration/Certification:
Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN)
Required Experience:
At lease one year clinical experience.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility
